Club Congo

This month, Project 58 is launching a new initiative – Club Congo. Club Congo is a group of runners and walkers that have a heart for the Democratic Republic of Congo and want to see an end to the suffering happening there. We come together to run and advocate for those that cannot stand up for themselves. We are “running for THEIR lives.”

Interesting Blog Posts

I just did a search within WordPress on “DRC” and found a few really interested & good posts by a fellow blogger who is from Africa and has a closer insight into this than we probably do.

He just did a two part series on the conflict that is starting up. The references he uses in his posts are especially of intrigue. Please read them and lets get a discussion going in the comments section. I think we could really get going discussing the US government’s and the private US business sector’s role in adding fuel to the fire.

The quotes in these posts are worth clicking and reading.
